New MegaShip for Royal Caribbean
It has just been confirmed that Royal Caribbean will build a third ship in the “mega class cat.” this will be a sister ship to its two “Oasis-class” cruise vessel.
Currently the World’s two largest ships, Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas have been an excellent investment, hence Royal Carribean have decided to build a third in the class.
Passengers on these Oasis class ships are paying a premium to sail on them, with fares averaging up to twice the price than those readily available for similiar cruises.
These ships are a destination in themselves and it would be difficult for passengers to take advantage to all on offer in just one cruise.
I used to prefer smaller ships, but I must admit that mega ships offer so much in the way of entertainment and things to do.
Due to the ships size, we will not be seeing any of them in our part of the world and they will stick to sailing from their home port in Florida. John Pond
