Four Seasons Hotel Prague – A Favourite
In my world travels, some hotels stand out. The Four Seasons in Prague is one of them.
They have just completed a 6 year remodeling project giving guests the choice of contemporary, Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-Classical designs. GM Rene Beauchamp says “The response so far has been very positive, especially from our return guests who now have an opportunity to choose a different experience – depending on the purpose of their stay or current preferences.”
The new décor of the rooms located in the Neo-Classical building, which dates back to 1827, is indigenous to the architectural style and respects the history of the building. The colour scheme and style is different from those in the Hotel’s Modern, Baroque and Renaissance structures. Dominating shades are beige and gold, complementing classical style furnishing in dark brown. Together with the seating area by the window with romantic city views, Czech crystal chandelier and white and gold wallpapers, the new rooms gives feeling of warmth and the grandeur of Old Europe.
