Couple Thrown Off Boat
It has been reported that a couple sailing on the SeabournSojourn was asked to leave after the wife refused to attend the mandatory muster drill.
Apparently only the woman’s husband showed up for the mandatory muster drill, apparently the wife claimed she wasn’t feeling well and said as she had already done the drill before.
After repeated attempts to make her attend from the crew, the Captain even announced over the PA that any person who refused to attend the drill would face immediate debarkation. Apparently the couple did not respond so they were forced to disembark before the cruise had started.
Off course this all came about due to the Costa Concordia tragedy where many lives were lost. They had not yet held their muster drill.
I totally agree with the ships actions. John Pond.
