Hong Kong Summer Sounds Great
Hong Kong is one of my favourite places to visit. A great place to stop over on a visit to or from Europe or as a great destinatin for ones vacation. Guess I am suffering from Hong Kong withdrawals.
HK Tourism Board Australia just sent me some of the attractions planned for their upcoming summer, so I thought I would pass some of them along, thanks MP, John Pond.
During the Hong Kong Summer Spectacular (June 22 – August 31) you can take advantage of the citywide sales across Hong Kong’s glamorous department stores, trendy boutiques and shopping malls where you will be enticed by the very latest and hottest fashion and shoes, fine jewellery, beauty products, watches, electronics and quirky gifts – and the strong dollar makes Hong Kong the perfect shopping destination for the fashionistas amongst us!
For a taste of the city’s colourful events don’t forget the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival (July 2 & 4-8) and the Lan Kwai Fong Music & BeerFest (July 14 & 15).
TRY Newly opened c’est la B located in trendy Causeway Bay, c’est la B is the first of a new café-bar brand hinting at founder Bonnie Gokson’s name with a funky interior and delicious food.
SOHO (South of Hollywood Road) is a lively cultural, dining and shopping district characterised by its vibrant and creative inhabitants and is a must do for every visitor.
