RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS EXPANDS ONBOARD DINING OPTIONS Five new signature dining venues to be added during a four-week long dry dock. When she emerges from a major US$54 million revitalisation this month, Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas will feature five more unique dining options .
“As part of our fleet-wide revitilisation program, Royal Caribbean is taking its most popular and exciting concepts and bringing them Down Under by including them on one of Australia’s favourite ships, Rhapsody of the Seas. Now guests will be able to satisfying their taste buds with everything from melt-in-your-mouth steaks to sushi and a private dining room to choose from,” said Adam Armstrong, commercial manager, Royal Caribbean Australia.
Among the five new highly acclaimed dining concepts debuting onboard Rhapsody of the Seas, guests will be able to experience: Chops Grille: featuring a menu of prime cuts prepared a la minute (open for dinner, USD30 cover charge). Izumi: a sushi bar with hot-rock cooking, the pan-Asian cuisine restaurant is a no-hassle, authentic dining experience. Chef’s Table: An exclusive private dining experience for 14 guests co-hosted by the Executive Chef and Sommelier for an intimate wine-paired five-course dinner (open for dinner, USD95 cover charge). Giovanni’s Table: Royal Caribbean’s new classic Italian restaurant Giovanni’s Table features the flavours and tastes of Tuscany with a menu of favourites including focaccia, fresh pesto, Zuppa di Porcini, Gnocchi di Palate, Lasagna Tradizionale and more (open for lunch and dinner, USD 15 cover charge for lunch, and USD 20 for dinner). Park Café: An indoor/outdoor gourmet market featuring salads, sandwiches, soups and pastries (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, complimentary). Together with the grand 2-story Edelweiss Dining Room, the casual Windjammer Café and 24-hour room service this takes the total onboard dining choices to seven – a number exceeded only by sister ship Radiance of the Seas in Australian waters.
